What You Will Work OnAs a Senior Trainer for Merchandise, you'll design and deliver impactful training programs that empower our teams to excel in merchandise planning and allocation. You'll create engaging learning experiences that blend technical expertise with practical application, ensuring every participant leaves confident and ready to perform. Your role will involve maintaining up-to-date training materials aligned with system enhancements and evolving business processes.
You'll also lead workshops, mentor new team members, and facilitate teach-back sessions to reinforce learning. Beyond training delivery, you'll collaborate on system implementations and process improvements, ensuring best-in-class practices are applied across financial planning, assortment planning, and replenishment. Expect to work on projects that influence strategic decisions and drive operational excellence.
You'll partner closely with cross-functional business stakeholders, including planning, buying, and allocation teams, to ensure training aligns with organizational goals. Collaboration with system administrators and process owners will be key as you guide enhancements and maintain documentation standards. You'll also engage with vendors and attend planning conferences, representing our commitment to continuous improvement and industry leadership.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
5+ years of business-related experience in merchandise planning and allocation
Expertise in Microsoft Office, with advanced PowerPoint skills
Strong presentation and facilitation skills for diverse audiences
Ability to manage multiple training projects and prioritize effectively
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar and detail orientation
Analytical mindset with creative problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of Oracle RMS, SAS, and related MP&A systems
Experience in merchandise financial planning, open-to-buy, and assortment planning
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
A team-first attitude; while your core duties are your priority, you're happy to step in wherever you're needed
Ability to adapt to change and maintain a professional demeanor
Willingness to learn and grow within the organization
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Regular in-office attendance is required
Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties
