Description

Acadian Ambulance has an immediate opening for a full-time Resolution Specialist to work with our Acadian Client Services team. The Resolution Specialist is responsible for reviewing invoices worked by the ATAC team that require adjustments in order to be billed out to the primary insurance and/or to zero out a balance on an invoice.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain all of ATAC's billing review and payment review queues
  • Review timely filing reports/invoices
  • Act as a resource for questions about payments collected by ATAC
  • Handle refund requests for payments taken by ATAC
  • Assist payment posting in determining where unapplied cash is to be applied
  • Handle recording requests by BDCs/Facility unit to support billing contracts
  • Act as a back-up Trainer
  • Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel)/Google Products
  • Knowledgeable of AR2000, Finesse and Salesforce (Apttus)
  • Comprehensive understanding of insurance verification and the pre-authorization process 
  • Familiarity with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services regulations (ambulance)
  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic and work independently
  • Time management skills
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Possess strong organizational skills
  • Ability to adhere to productivity goals, departmental and company guidelines, dress code, policy and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and time management
  • Maintain highest level of confidentiality
