THE ROLE:
We are seeking an Analog Design Engineer to join our team developing next-generation analog technology for AMD's compute, graphics, and gaming products. This role involves contributing to advanced analog/mixed-signal architectures in a collaborative engineering environment.

The ideal candidate demonstrates a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, shows initiative in problem-solving, and works effectively within a team to achieve shared objectives. A strong interest in analog design and a commitment to professional growth are highly valued.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with senior engineers on architecture and specifications of analog circuits.
- Design transistor-level analog circuits in advanced process nodes.
- Conduct design reviews and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support system-level verification of designed circuits.
- Supervise custom layout and participate in bring-up and validation of initial silicon.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Hands-on experience in analog IC design.
- Familiarity with deep submicron CMOS analog design (FinFET preferred).
- Coursework or practical experience in analog IC design.
- Exposure to circuits such as Bandgap, Biasing Circuits, Comparators, Oscillators, SAR ADC, ΔΣ ADC, DAC, PLL, Filters, LDO, Amplifiers, Buck/Boost Converters.
- Understanding of feedback loop theory and analog concepts (mismatch, linearity, stability).
- Experience with lab equipment for debugging analog/mixed-signal circuits.
- Basic proficiency in MATLAB, Verilog, and/or Python.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field of study
