THE ROLE:
We are in search of an experienced program manager with strong analytical, problem-solving and risk management skills. Ability to work efficiently and manage effective relationships in a cross-functional organization to meet commitments for successful customer program launches. Must be self-directed and work in complex and dynamic ecosystems.
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the development of products from Pre-Concept through Customer Ship, working with large, matrixed teams to plan and execute system level products. This role requires a blend of strong leadership and technical acumen to effectively navigate the complexities of data center driven projects. You will understand the technical challenges in the interaction of silicon, software and board elements on next generation computing system solutions. You are energized by working in a fast-paced technical organization across multiple sites, with multifaceted product requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Engineering Collaboration & Product Hardware Development: Partner with electrical, firmware, thermal, and mechanical engineering teams, and manage and lead pathfinding with architects to enable the definition, design, and verification of product hardware and system design POCs.
Vendor Management & Supply Chain Coordination: Work with key electro-mechanical vendors, ensuring technical deliverables are met. Partner with supply chain managers for vendor selection.
Cross-Functional Coordination & Development Planning: Coordinate with internal cross-functional design and operations teams including product design, manufacturing engineering, firmware and software to develop cohesive development plans.
Design Issues & Program Deliverables: Lead design issues & resolutions impacting system design program deliverables.
Process Improvement & Organizational Growth: Develops and shares best-in-class processes to streamline and grow the organization to meet new challenges.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Product Development & Hardware Expertise: Driven product development with hardware platforms and related software ecosystem, including foundry & OSAT to platform level architecture, design, and execution.
AI Technologies & Technical Leadership: Strong understanding of AI technologies and ability to quickly grasp new technical concepts to lead and manage technical teams.
- Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at interfacing with customers and partners, and translating complex technical discussions into clear action plans.
Problem Solving & Adaptability: Confident in evaluating risks and tradeoffs, presenting solution options to executive leadership, and addressing business and technical changes throughout the program lifecycle.
Tools & Methodologies: Proficient in MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Confluence, JAMA, JIRA, and Agile methodologies for clear communication and coordination of work.
Networking & Influence: Skilled at quickly and independently networking to align resources towards a common goal.
Proactive Problem Solving: Demonstrated creative, situational, and critical thinking problem-solving abilities.
- Program Management & Cross-Functional Leadership: Successfully led and delivered large-scale, cross-functional programs on time and within budget, with multiple years of program management experience and multiple years in the semiconductor industry.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- PMI PMP® Certification is a plus.
