JOB DETAILS:
- Location: Shanghai, China
- Onsite Work, at least 3 days attendance per week
- Duration: 2025/07-2025/12
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
AMD CAD team is part of Central Design Methodology team and be responsible to deliver differentiated ASIC implementation flows (from RTL to GDSII) for all AMD products. You'll be working with the global CAD team on FrontEnd/BackEnd Integration flows(from RTL to Netlist).
1. Be responsible for AMD FrontEnd/BackEnd Integration flow validation, development, and support to AMD internal design teams
2. Interface with EDA vendors on technical problem
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Has knowledge with digital-circuit's implementation flow (synthesize, low power, timing analysis etc.) and has a strong desire to automate flow. Has good communication skills and be able to work both independently and in a team.
1. Be familiar with digital-design's synthesize and PnR flow
or 1. Be familiar with physical implementation flow, including placement, cts, route, sta, eco, etc
2. Be familiar with one of more EDA tools like FusionCompiler/DesignCompiler/Genus, ICC/ICC2, Encounter/Innovus etc.
3. Has knowledge of any script languages like Tcsh, Tcl, Perl, Python etc.
4. Has knowledge of low power design (UPF, CPF)
5. Good written and spoken English
