Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture and design of GPU SDK components and libraries for advanced rendering and compute applications
- Drive technical direction for upscaling technologies and graphics features
- Mentor engineering team and establish best practices for SDK development
- Strategic partnership with hardware architects and ISVs on SDK roadmap
- Design and implement advanced rendering techniques using HLSL compute shaders and graphics pipelines
- Architect scalable API interfaces for external developers and partners
- Lead cross-platform performance optimization across multiple GPU architectures
- Define validation frameworks and quality standards for SDK releases
Requirements:
- Expert HLSL and Direct3D 12
- Hands-on experience with DXGI Swap Chain implementation and proxy-based override mechanisms
- Deep GPU pipeline and compute architecture knowledge
- Advanced GPU profiling and performance analysis
- Expert parallel algorithms and optimization patterns
- Proven SDK/API architecture and delivery
- Expert C++ (C++17/20) with modern design patterns
- Cross-platform development expertise
Nice-To-Have Background:
- HIP and ROCm programming
- Shader compilation pipelines and IRs (DXIL, SPIR-V)
- Advanced GPU micro-optimizations
- ML frameworks and GPU acceleration
- Development tooling and CI/CD automation
- Validation frameworks and test automation
- Deep GPU hardware architecture knowledge (AMD RDNA, NVIDIA, Intel)
- Vulkan, Metal experience
