THE ROLE:

As a Product Manager, AMD PRO Security within the Client and Graphics Product Management team, you will own the end-to-end product management for Client Security. You will play a pivotal role in defining and driving the Client Security roadmap. You will do this by staying in close touch with PC OEMs and end customers, understanding their needs and pain points and translating them into roadmaps with the right prioritization. You will work closely with other product managers, engineering, program management, product marketing, business development, and sales teams to drive successful outcomes with our customers and ISV partners. You will be the CEO of your product, driving strategic and tactical outcomes through influence and partnership.

The successful candidate will be…

 

  • Self-driven, independent and passionate about bringing new solutions to market through a complex ecosystem.
  • Strong experience with PC hardware and firmware security ecosystem and understanding of the security threat landscape.
  • A bias for action and ownership, with the ability to drive clarity in complex, fast-moving environments.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to align cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a strong sense of accountability for outcomes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for AMD PRO security features across client platforms, aligning with enterprise customer needs, regulatory requirements, and AMDs commercial growth objectives.
  • Translate enterprise security, IT management, and compliance requirements (e.g., hardware root of trust, firmware security, FIPS, NIST, Zero Trust) into clear product requirements and prioritized feature definitions.
  • Partner closely with silicon architecture, firmware, software and validation teams to define security capabilities, drive execution, and ensure robust implementation.
  • Develop a data driven prioritization framework with a customer first approach.
  • Drive deep engagements with strategic customers to define and document the next-gen security requirements. 
  • Engage directly with OEMs, ISVs, OS partners, and enterprise customers to gather feedback, validate requirements, and ensure strong ecosystem compatibility and adoption.
  • Shape competitive strategy and positioning, continuously assessing competitive offerings, emerging AI-driven threats, and industry trends to guide roadmap decisions and differentiation.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and field teams to develop security positioning, value proposition, competitive differentiation, and enablement materials for AMD PRO platforms.
  • Establish and track business and product success metrics, using data and customer insights to inform trade-offs, prioritize investments, and continuously improve the AMD PRO Security portfolio.
  • Present and evangelize your product and strategy internally and externally.

 

 

 PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:  

  • Proven experience in product management, particularly in client hardware and firmware security.
  • Ability to write clear and succinct product/feature requirements.
  • Knowledge of the hardware and software ecosystem and successful management of technical products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with market research and competitive analysis.
  • Experience developing strong collateral and presenting.
  • Strong business analytics experience, comfortable working with data.

 

 ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:  

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field
  • MBA or Master's degree preferred

  • Austin, Texas Preferred
