THE ROLE:

AMD is looking for a Product Manager to lead our cloud recommendation systems. Existing tools and ecosystem integrations help customers, partners, and internal teams make smarter infrastructure decisions when deploying in the cloud.

THE PERSON: 

This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, marketing, and business development, providing a wide variety of responsibilities and possibilities. You will drive the strategy and execution behind AMD tools that improve how workloads are sized, optimized, and deployed in the cloud.

KEY REPSONSIBILITIES: 

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle – from shaping the roadmap to driving adoption – for key AMD cloud recommendation tools
• Partner with AMD engineering teams to execute the roadmap and prioritize changes
• Identify and engage external partners across the cloud recommendation ecosystem to expand awareness and integration of AMD recommendation logic
• Work with tool users (internal and external) to identify key benefits, pain points, and gather feedback to drive improvements
• Create training materials, documentation, and engage potential users to drive adoption
• Coordinate with cloud product management leaders to ensure tools align to key business objectives across major cloud providers

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in product management and/or product marketing, ideally in areas related cloud, infrastructure, or SaaS platforms
• Strong understanding of public cloud environments (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)
• Ability to translate between business and technical stakeholders, working across engineering, BU, and sales teams to deliver outcomes
• Experience with partner ecosystems or developer platforms is a plus
• Strong communication skills to translate complex technical concepts into clear product direction, evangelize the benefits of the tools to internal and external stakeholders, and be customer facing as needed
• Known as a quick learner with ability to navigate a fast-paced and changing business environment
• Ability to influence without authority and set priorities without explicit direction

LOCATION: Santa Clara, Seattle, or Austin
