THE ROLE:
This new opportunity created due to growth is for a Regional Channel Technical Enablement (Enterprise) Manager to join the Enterprise Datacenter Channel Organization within the Compute and Enterprise AI Business Unit. This is an individual contributor opportunity (not a people management role) based in Austin, TX.
This strategic and highly visible role is responsible for driving technical readiness, solution enablement, and partner activation across AMD's Enterprise Datacenter ecosystem. You will serve as the bridge between AMD Product Management, Engineering, Sales, OEMs, Distributors, GSIs, ISVs, and Channel Partners to ensure partners can confidently position, architect, and deploy AMD Datacenter solutions.
The Technical Enablement Lead will develop and execute technical training programs, partner bootcamps, certifications, workshops, hands-on labs, and launch readiness initiatives focused on AMD EPYC™, AMD Instinct™, Pensando™, ROCm™, and the broader AMD AI and Datacenter portfolio.
This role combines deep technical knowledge with strong program leadership and will play a critical role in accelerating partner competency, solution adoption, pipeline growth, and market share expansion.

You possess a rare blend of technical expertise, partner-facing experience, and business acumen, with a focus on channel partnerships and server/CPU technologies.
You are passionate about helping partners learn, sell, architect, and deploy modern datacenter infrastructure and AI solutions. You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy collaborating across engineering, sales, marketing, and partner organizations.
You can confidently navigate conversations ranging from executive business value discussions to detailed architecture reviews with solution architects and technical presales teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner Technical Enablement
- Develop and execute AMD Datacenter technical enablement strategies across channel partners, distributors, OEMs, cloud providers, and ecosystem partners.
- Deliver technical bootcamps, architecture workshops, train-the-trainer sessions, webinars, and hands-on labs.
- Build role-based learning paths for sellers, pre-sales engineers, solution architects, and technical decision makers.
- Drive certification and technical accreditation adoption across AMD partner ecosystems.
- Solution Readiness & Launch Activation
- Support product launches with technical readiness plans, enablement content, workshops, and partner communication strategies.
- Create scalable enablement frameworks for new AMD Datacenter technologies and solutions.
- Ensure regional partner teams have the resources required to localize and execute global programs.
- Content Development
- Develop technical enablement assets including:
- Architecture guides
- Solution playbooks
- Competitive positioning
- Battlecards
- Workload assessments

- Workshop curriculum
- Translate complex technical concepts into practical, partner-consumable content that supports sales and solution development.
- Develop technical enablement assets including:

- Collaborate with OEMs, ISVs, GSIs, distributors, and strategic partners to align on joint enablement plans.
- Act as a trusted advisor to channel presales teams and partner technical leaders.
- Drive Technical Advisory Boards (TABs) and partner feedback forums to capture market insights and improve AMD offerings.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Strong understanding and experience in Datacenter infrastructure, enterprise technology, partner enablement, solution architecture, technical sales, or business development.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
- Master's degree preferred
