THE ROLE:
The Section Manager / Staff Finance Analyst, Finance is a critical role in the success of the business. This role will partner with Business Unit leadership and other members of the Finance team to manage the accounting activities for the business unit. This includes owning all aspects of program and product accounting, contract review, internal/external audit engagement, SOX compliance, month-end close and financial reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Influence and provide guidance on the accounting treatment of business unit contracts / transactions to ensure the appropriate application.
- Support month-end close activities, including the of review journal entries and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with internal control frameworks, SOX requirements, applicable regulations, and company policies.
- Prepare, analyze, and deliver financial reporting packages for corporate and executive leadership, including management reporting, ad hoc analysis, and actionable business insights.
- Partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business priorities, provide strategic financial guidance, and support informed decision-making.
- Identify, challenge, and enhance existing processes, controls, and ways of working to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and responsiveness to evolving business needs.
- Drive process automation and digital transformation initiatives by leveraging technology, data analytics, and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and business insights.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- General finance/accounting processes or finance compliance/auditing experience is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Adaptable and resilient, able to work effectively under pressure and manage change in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using business intelligence tools, data analytics software, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is added advantage
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably with accounting or professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, MIA, etc is preferred.
