THE ROLE:
The Section Manager, Finance is a critical role in the success of the business. This role will partner with Business Unit leadership and other members of the Finance team to manage the accounting activities for the business unit. This includes owning all aspects of program and product accounting, contract review, internal/external audit engagement, SOX compliance, month-end close and financial reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders to support the execution and governance of marketing activities and initiatives.
- Provide operational and strategic support by identifying opportunities to enhance marketing proof validation and process effectiveness
- Lead stakeholder engagement through recurring governance and operational review meetings to prioritize deliverables, address escalations, and drive execution.
- Prepare and present operational updates, budget tracking, expense monitoring, forecasts, and key performance metrics to leadership teams.
- Oversee tracking and forecasting processes related to marketing proof identification and accrual management to support financial planning and business visibility.
- Support financial analysis activities including historical spend reviews, customer/supplier account reconciliation, and operational reporting.
- Lead and manage ad hoc projects, operational analyses, and cross-functional initiatives as assigned by leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, process standardization, compliance, and scalability across marketing operations.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, SOX controls, and established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Identify operational risks, process gaps, and opportunities for automation or optimization.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Finance and/or accounting professional experience.
- Previous experience with percentage of completion accounting.
- Knowledge and understanding of accounting/Financial systems.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with international teams.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively problem solve. Working knowledge in Microsoft Excel
- Drive AI adoption and data-driven initiatives to improve operational effectiveness, reporting accuracy, and stakeholder experience.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in related discipline preferred.
