As part of the Data Center Platform Engineering Group, the Senior Compliance and Safety Technical Program Manager will lead the planning, execution, governance, and cross-functional coordination of compliance, product safety, regulatory readiness, and certification activities for AI server and hyperscale server platform programs. This role is responsible for ensuring platform programs meet applicable product safety, regulatory, environmental, and customer compliance requirements across the full product lifecycle, from early product definition and architecture through design, validation, production release, production ramp, and sustaining.
The ideal candidate will operate as a system-level leader and integrator, coordinating complex, cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, manufacturable, and scalable server platforms that meet aggressive schedule, quality, safety, regulatory, and customer readiness targets. This individual will partner closely with Engineering, Compliance, Reliability, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, Legal, Business, and Account Teams to ensure compliance and safety requirements are clearly defined, tracked, validated, documented, and delivered with program-level discipline.
THE PERSON:
You are a skilled, compliance-focused Technical Program Manager with expertise in system-level hardware development, leading complex programs across multiple domains like electrical, mechanical, and regulatory areas.
- You bring strong ownership, structure, and urgency to compliance (EMC) and safety execution.
- Collaborating with various teams, you turn requirements into clear compliance and safety plans with defined milestones.
- Leading cross-functional teams, you ensure timely server platform launches, aligning diverse engineering and manufacturing aspects.
- You excel in clarifying ambiguous environments, establishing program structures and execution plans, and managing risks.
- You effectively operate at various levels, from detailed compliance reviews to executive discussions, communicating trade-offs and impacts.
- Displaying a strong sense of ownership, you proactively address gaps and hold teams accountable for deliverables including certifications.
- You mentor others, enhancing compliance standards and execution excellence within the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead complex compliance programs, managing regulatory activities (EMC & safety) across AI and hyperscale server platforms.
- Align cross-functional teams, translating system capabilities into compliance plans.
- Maintain program plans and ensure visibility of compliance deliverables including certifications with extended teams and customer.

- Program Health
- Schedule & Key Milestones
- Allocations
- Test Plans & Execution Status
- Issues & Key Deliverables
- Identify compliance risks early, plan mitigations, and communicate decisively.
- Coordinate with labs and teams for testing, documentation, and approval readiness.
- Track compliance metrics and support executive-level program health updates.
- Ability to interface with customers on a regular basis.
- Manage compliance discussions and issue resolutions with cross-functional teams.
- Drive continuous improvement and mentor others in the organization.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in leading compliance (EMC) and safety programs throughout hardware lifecycle stages.
- Expertise in hardware systems with cross-domain experience.
- Proven cross-functional management skills.
- Ability to lead compliance readiness and manage complex product requirements.
- Familiarity with safety, regulatory, and compliance expectations for hardware products including certifications.
- Skill in program leadership, communication, and data-driven decision making.
- Experience in documentation-heavy programs and readiness assessments.
- Proficiency in balancing technical requirements and business priorities in dynamic environments.
- Strong executive presence and capability to distill complex issues into actionable plans.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Advanced degree (MS) is preferred.
- Relevant compliance, safety, regulatory, or program management certifications are a plus.
