THE ROLE

AMD is seeking a Sr. Product Application Engineer to help customers unlock the full potential of AMD Adaptive Computing and FPGA technologies. In this highly visible customer-facing role, you will work alongside Sales, FAEs, engineering teams, ecosystem partners, and some of the world's most innovative technology companies to accelerate the adoption of AMD solutions across a wide range of applications.

As a trusted technical advisor, you will support customers throughout their development journey—from architecture discussions and proof-of-concepts through design implementation, optimization, and deployment. You will have the opportunity to influence customer technology decisions, solve complex technical challenges, and provide valuable feedback that shapes future AMD products, IP, software tools, and development methodologies.

This role offers a unique blend of technical depth, customer engagement, and business impact, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy solving challenging engineering problems while working directly with customers and industry-leading technologies.

THE PERSON

The ideal candidate is a technically driven problem solver who enjoys working directly with customers to overcome complex design and implementation challenges. You are naturally curious, thrive in collaborative environments, and enjoy translating advanced engineering concepts into practical solutions.

You build credibility quickly with both technical and business stakeholders and are comfortable engaging with customers, partners, and internal engineering teams. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for helping customers successfully deploy leading-edge technologies.

You are highly organized, capable of balancing multiple priorities, and motivated by delivering outstanding customer outcomes while contributing to AMD's continued technology leadership.
