Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/an Engineering Manager located in Henrico, VA.
Reporting to the Director – Engineering, the Engineering Manager role involves being responsible for managing a team of process engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization.
What a typical day looks like:
Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
Establish and improve process capabilities.
Develop and maintain process documentation.
Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations.
Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
Improve throughput in constrained areas.
Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
Typically requires 7 years of engineering experience including supervision.
Electrical engineering design experience across multiple product cycles required
Strong understanding of analog, digital, power, and mixed‑signal circuit design.
Proficiency with CAD tools
Experience with prototype validation, debugging methodologies, and electrical test equipment.
Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements (UL strongly preferred).
