We have an exciting new opportunity for a Facilities Coordinator based in Dundalk, reporting to the Facilities Manager.

What a typical day looks like:
Facilities Operations & Maintenance
- Coordinate day-to-day facilities activities across all areas of the business.
- Manage the CMMS: assign/close work orders, track PM compliance, maintain asset registers.
- Schedule preventive and predictive maintenance for systems such as HVAC, compressed air, LEV, water systems, Fabrication machines, lifting equipment, and building infrastructure.
- Respond to reactive maintenance issues promptly to maintain manufacturing uptime.
- Hands-on maintenance of equipment and buildings.
- Manage small team of Janitorial operatives to ensure high standard of housekeeping and hygiene
- Manage statutory and safety testing: life safety system, thermal imaging, lift inspections.
- Manage access control system along with all security and keyholding activities
Contractor & Vendor Management
- Manage planned and reactive contractor visits: inductions, permits, RAMS verification, and supervision as needed.
- Ensure all contractors comply with site safety rules and Irish legislation (Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act).
- Validate service reports and ensure invoices match scope and deliverables.
Compliance, EHS & Documentation
- Maintain compliance with ISO and local Irish regulatory standards.
- Ensure statutory inspections such as life safety systems are completed on time and documentation retained.
- Support internal and external audits with accurate facilities records and corrective actions.
- Manage waste disposal, pest control, environmental controls, and chemical/SDS documentation.
- Support compliance with LOTO, Hot works, work permits, RAMS and controlled access to restricted areas.
Space Planning & Facilities Projects
- Support office and production area layout changes, equipment moves, FAT area setup, and small capital works.
- Assist with tendering, scheduling, commissioning, and handover of facilities projects.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities (energy efficiency, 5S, lean initiatives).
Communication & Administration
- Function as the first point of contact for facilities support tickets.
- Communicate planned outages, shutdowns, maintenance windows, and safety impacts.
- Prepare dashboards and reports for KPIs, maintenance compliance, and expenditure.
- Monitor BMS portals, advise and document variances.
- Review PM program and expand current reach.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Experience in facilities, maintenance, or operations within manufacturing, industrial, or critical power environment.
- Knowledge of building services equipment (HVAC, compressed air, LEV, fire protection).
- Familiarity with Irish statutory compliance: e.g., fire safety standards, fixed electrical testing, and safety legislation.
- Experience with CMMS management and basic reading of technical drawings.
- Strong vendor/contractor coordination experience.
- Competence with Microsoft 365 (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Outlook,). ERP and AutoCAD knowledge desirable
Desirable Certifications
- Technical qualification in mechanical, electrical, or building services (Level 6–7 ideal).
- First Aid, Fire Warden, Working at Height, MEWP, Forklift (advantageous).
- Mechanical or Electrical trade experience (Beneficial)
