Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an HR Floor Lead – 2nd Shift located in Henrico.
Reporting to the HRBP the HR Floor Lead role involves being responsible for offering high-quality and timely support to partners with the business, managers, and employees to hold up the employee life cycle.
What a typical day looks like:
Provide continuous HR support to the direct labor population, serving as a primary point of contact for employee relations, policy guidance, and issue resolution.
Partner with operations to improve daily performance by aligning HR support with customer demand, production goals, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Lead and support initiatives aimed at minimizing operational downtime and enhancing workforce productivity.
Drive measurable improvements in key workforce metrics, including absenteeism, attrition, and turnover.
Strengthen talent processes by supporting effective workforce planning, candidate identification, onboarding, and retention strategies.
Ensure all HR practices and floor-level activities are fully aligned with the organization's Business Code of Conduct.
Maintain strict compliance with Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) standards and promote ethical labor practices.
Reinforce and model the company's core values by fostering a positive, inclusive, and accountable workplace culture.
Support the integration of contingent workers by ensuring alignment with company policies, processes, and performance expectations.
Promote a high level of employee engagement by driving communication, feedback, and recognition initiatives that enhance the overall employee experience.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
Associate's degree or equivalent in a Human Resource-related field
Demonstrated ability to protect and maintain data privacy
Proven experience and skills in HR functions, particularly in a face-to-face support role within a manufacturing environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
