Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Site Service Engineer, in Romania who will travel across a variety of sites in Europe.

Reporting to the Site Service Manager, the Site Service Engineer´s role will be managing all aspects involved in the maintenance/installation works undertaken by the company including the managing/overseeing of equipment dispatched to site.

This role is based on our sites in Europe and requires candidates who are comfortable being away from home on a fortnightly rotation.

What a typical day looks like:

  • You will complete the necessary certificates for handover to client and witness testing and associated documentation, as required;
  • You will monitor the works and provide reports necessary to project status;
  • Efficiently and effectively directing other employees/contractors engaged in works on behalf of the company;
  • Interconnection/Testing/Commissioning of LV Switchgear;
  • Without compromising quality, health, safety or the environment' Efficiently manage projects to maximize the profits of the company;
  • Target ‘zero harm' to ultimately eliminate defects, unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and pollution;
  • Conduct site inductions and task briefings as required;
  • Ensure method statements are communicated, understood, acknowledged and followed;
  • Completing records and certificates for handover to clients;
  • Carrying out witness testing and provide associated documentation as required;
  • You will efficiently supervise and control site works in hand to maximise the profits of the company without compromising quality, health, safety and environmental requirements.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • The ideal candidate will have 4+ years' experience in a similar role, must be self-motivated, enthusiastic and conscientious with a high standard of attention to detail;
  • You must be able to work accurately to deadlines in a busy and pressurised environment and demonstrate flexibility;
  • You will be an electrician, with proven knowledge and experience in LV Switchgear;
  • Electrical Skills Card;
  • Willingness and eligible to work in Europe (EU);
  • Driving licence.
