Description
This position is responsible for strategically and tactically managing several warehouse functions within the distribution center warehouse in compliance with the Company's policies and vision.
Up to 9 direct reports. Approximately 650 inbound and outbound lines per day.
Safety / Compliance of the Law

Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local laws and enforce all company rules and regulations.
Exercises proper care in the use of equipment; instructs and enforces the similar standards for associates.
Carries out policies, including the Code of Business Ethics and procedures, and works to the performance standards as defined for the location and picking and shipping areas.
Problem Solving / Collaborative Relationships
Takes accountability for delivering on commitments; owns mistakes and uses them as opportunities for learning and development.
Works with vendor representatives on improper packaging and logistic processes that optimize supply chain management.
Continuous Improvement / Lean Concepts
Maintains a constant focus on Lean fundamentals, continuous improvement and continuous learning to improve performance, quality and efficiency of work processes.
Engages associates in identifying opportunities for improvement.
Uses formal and informal tools and techniques to achieve operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Rearranges warehouse storage racks as needed to obtain maximum and most efficient use of storage space.
Uses hand carts, manual or driven conveyor, mobile pallet jacks and motorized lift trucks to transport and load parts and materials.
Customer Service
Maintains, instructs and directs warehouse personnel to achieve and maintain a high level of service to Service Centers and customers; including timely responses to inquiries concerning on-time, error-free shipments and responding to needs with exceptional service.
Receives and responds to Service Center inquiries regarding incorrect shipments, routine changes and order expediting.
Processes orders accurately, with focus on Right part, Right Quantity and Saleable condition
Fulfillment Center Standardization
Processes paperwork, checks pulled items for branch and customer shipments and determines packing and shipping procedures.
Responsible for designated warehouse associates time sheets and vacation approvals.
Reduces complexity, drives standardization in our data and processes, delivers on customer expectations and eliminates waste
Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs)
Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
Talent Development
Hires, effectively leads, coaches & develops associates utilizing performance management / goal setting tools and following company standards and policies.
Champions the development of associate competencies, driving individual and team goals.
Communicates to associates specific duties and requirements of their job, including Core Values and Code of Ethics

Basic computer skills: Excel, Power Point, etc
WMS experience preferred
Lean background preferred
SAP experience preferred
Ability to use material handling equipment: carts, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc
Requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time, walk, bend, and lift up to 25lbs regularly and up to 50lbs occasionally.

Team Player
Equivalent to two-four years college study in business and supply chain methods.
5 to 7 years warehouse or distribution experience
In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated total compensation for this position is $70,000 - $80,000 per year. This includes salary ($60,000 - $70,000) based on experience as well as quarterly and annual bonus opportunities based on performance. No specific amount is guaranteed. All full-time associates are eligible for typical employment benefits expected from an industry leader (including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, life insurance, time off, employee assistance, etc.).
