**Job Title: Caregiver (2 PM - 10 PM)**

**Location:** Atlantic, Iowa

**Job Type:** Part-Time/Full-Time

**Reports to:** Director of Health & Wellness

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team for the evening shift, from 2 PM to 10 PM. The ideal candidate will provide personalized care and support to clients in facility setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and overall well-being. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those you care for, fostering a trusting and respectful relationship.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' physical and emotional conditions to the supervising nurse or manager.
- Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate records of medication administration.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in conversation and activities.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring clients are safe and secure.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe home environment.
- Follow each client's personalized care plan and contribute to its ongoing review and revision.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with family members, healthcare professionals, and other caregivers.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in caregiving or relevant fields are a plus.
- Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare role preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to lift and move clients with appropriate assistance or equipment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
