**Job Description:**
Addington Place of Mount Pleasant is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Kitchen Server to join our team. If you have a passion for food and hospitality, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and want to be part of a dynamic kitchen team, we want to hear from you!
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the preparation and serving of food in accordance with established recipes and health standards.
- Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate closely with chefs and kitchen staff to support efficient kitchen operations.
- Take and deliver food orders accurately and promptly to patrons.
- Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor while interacting with team members and customers.
- Help with kitchen inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling and storage of food items.
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces after each shift.
- Participate in special events and catering services as needed.
**Qualifications:**
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt quickly to new tasks and responsibilities.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment.
