The Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Systems (C4ISRS), Adaptive Communications and Sensing (AC&S) Pricing organization is seeking a knowledgeable, high-energy analyst to serve as a proposal manager and pricing lead within the AC&S business area. In C4ISRS, you'll prepare proposals for our customers programs that provide actionable intelligence for our warfighters and decision makers through innovative technical solutions from the seas, to the skies, to the stars. The AC&S Product line within C4ISRS specializes in providing secure, interoperable, multi-channel, multi-band communications and crypto solutions, navigation and landing flight critical solutions for the most demanding environments; as well as logistics and support services for air, land and sea-based platforms. AC&S programs are based in Wayne, NJ, Fort Wayne, IN and Nashua HN. This position will primarily support Wayne, NJ programs. The successful candidate will support multiple product, program and contract types while ensuring that AC&S proposals conform to Government, Customer, and BAE internal proposal governance. Reporting to the AC&S Pricing Manager, the successful candidate will join a team of seasoned pricing analysts who work in a hybrid (on-site and remote) work environment. In this job you will:

  • Be the primary point of contact and lead for entering and tracking a subset of proposals.
  • Be a significant proposal team contributor. This can include coordinating team meetings and reviews and offering solutions to problems.
  • Take proposal team estimates and serve as the lead for getting the estimates priced, typically using ProPricer, with the proper rates and factors.
  • Lead cost volume preparation, coordinating data gathering for all other functions.
  • Review Basis of Estimates and prepare them for submission to the customer or management.
  • Validate the proposals meets customer RFP and internal and external compliance requirements.
  • Provide pricing and estimating perspective/input into bid kickoffs to guide proposal teams in preparing compliant proposals as efficiently as possible.
  • Preparation of financial data for Request for Bid Approval (RBA) packages.
  • Work with proposal team to negotiate proposals with customers.
  • Work independently, but in a cross functional team environment.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to interface with the Program Management Organization (PMO) team and others, including Operations Proposal Group (OPG), contracts, technical staff, and customers in support of proposal activities.


Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of work experience or equivalent experience; alternatively, a masters degree and 2+ years of work experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent data and analytical skills, including strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills to present bid information and influence diverse work teams
  • Demonstrated ability to work under time constraints and deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of program cost structures, knowledge of government contracting
  • Ability to make decisions using sound judgement while complying with policies, procedures, and appropriate Accounting/finance principles
Pursuant to a specific U.S. Government Contract, selected individual must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

  • Working knowledge of FAR, CAS and Cost of Pricing Data (COPD) regulations


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $78930 - $178920

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
