This role is designed for someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and will work closely with leaders and team members to create a positive and productive workplace.   Job Duties & Responsibilities (included, but are not limited to) Partner with business leaders, primarily located in the U.S., to understand the operational challenges and provide strategic HR support to meet business objectives. Lead and implement HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with legal requirements. Oversee the performance management cycle, assisting with performance check-ins, goal setting, and supporting employee development programs to enhance productivity and morale. Suggest improvements to process, as applicable. Coordinate learning and development events, identify skills gaps with management, design and deliver relevant sessions, and maintain records to ensure team members receive necessary training. Collaborate with hiring managers and the recruiter to address staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.  Actively recruit for assigned positions when recruiting volume is high and serve as a back-up to the recruiter.  Assist with onboarding to ensure smooth transitions for new team members. Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies. Conduct investigations related to workplace issues, including harassment, discrimination, and safety concerns, and provide recommendations for resolution. Write internal documents and communications for team members. Serve as the main contact for team member inquiries on policies and procedures. Assist in executing the year-end compensation review process. Develop and maintain professional relationships with all corporate stakeholders. Ensure compliance with federal and state labor laws.   Skills / Experience Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or relevant experience in lieu of degree Professional designation (CPHR, SHRM) is preferred. 4-6 years of experience in a HR Generalist/HR Business Partner capacity. Working knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements. Strong interpersonal and consulting skills with the ability to influence others. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Ability to travel to operational sites as needed (up to 15%).   Physical Demands and Requirements This job is not physically strenuous. You must be able to sit at a desk and utilize computers This job requires the ability to read and comprehend written and oral operational and safety instructions and related rules, policies, and memos, and to communicate clearly with your co-workers and supervisors This job is indoors in a controlled atmosphere with infrequent visits to the warehouse There will be minimal lifting of approximately 30 lbs.
