Memorial Hospital in Temple, TX, part of Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a full time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our amazing PACU Department. Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.
Schedule: Full Time -Nights
Monday- Thursday 11p-9:30a
Our state-of-the-art 19 bay PACU has an average of 55-80 cases daily. Featuring the most advanced technology in the areas of Transplants, Cardiovascular, Orthopedic and General surgery cases. With patients receiving care by a team of top medical professionals in their field!

Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse, will oversee patient care provided by the healthcare team using a professional practice model. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses.
What You'll Do
- You, as an RN, will conduct detailed clinical assessments, prioritize patient and family needs, create, implement, and evaluate care plans. Adjust plans to reach desired outcomes.
- Building relationships, managing discomfort, staying professional are vital in therapeutic connections with patients and families.
- Creating care plans reflecting values aids in resolving issues.
- You will help educate patients, families, nurses, and community members to empower them with knowledge for better healthcare choices. Assess and document learning needs regularly.
- Work with colleagues and community to create a care plan. Delegate tasks carefully and follow up promptly.
