We're seeking a Product Account Manager (PAM) for IZOT to drive growth across a defined portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts. In this role, you will partner closely with Account Managers to expand within existing customers and capture new logo opportunities, leading complex, high-value transformation sales.
Here is how, through this exciting role, you will contribute to BMC's and your own success:
• Own IZOT revenue growth across your territory, driving pipeline creation, progression, and close • Lead mainframe modernization conversations with both technical and executive stakeholders • Partner with Account Managers (AMs) to identify whitespace, expand footprint, and build large, multi-year deals • Drive complex enterprise sales cycles by orchestrating Solution Engineering, Value Engineering, Customer Success, and partners • Develop compelling value propositions tied to customer priorities (cost optimization, DevOps, hybrid cloud, resilience) • Build trusted advisor relationships and represent BMC with credibility and professionalism
To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
• Enterprise software sales experience (or equivalent overlay/specialty sales role) • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments • Experience selling into Fortune 1000 or large enterprise accounts • Demonstrated ability to build and manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and close 6–7 figure enterprise strategic deals • Experience working in a team-based / overlay sales model (partnering with AMs and cross-functional teams) • Strong ability to communicate business value—not just technical features to senior stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications • Experience with mainframe environments (IBM Z) or adjacent domains such as infrastructure software, automation, AIOps, DevOps, or hybrid cloud • Familiarity with mainframe modernization initiatives (cost optimization, workload transformation, automation, or data access) • Ability to engage and influence at the C-level (CIO, CTO, VP Infrastructure, Platform Engineering leaders) • Experience selling large, programmatic deals (multi-product, multi-year, transformation-led) • Strong understanding of competitive landscape (IBM, Broadcom, Rocket, Micro Focus, etc.) • Proven ability to orchestrate extended teams and drive aligned execution across internal and partner ecosystems

Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country-specific benefits. At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range. This roles compensation includes a mix of base salary and variable pay. The base salary range is $104,000 - $156,000, with an On-Target Earnings (OTE) range of $208,000 - $312,000.
