We are looking for a skilled and creative UX designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the creation of mockups, providing user experience guidelines along with participating in customer design research activates.  This role involves deep understanding of modern user interfaces s working closely with PM and R&D to provide our customer with the best user experience possible.

Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success: 

• Design exceptional products from start to finish, participating in all phases of design, from definition to development and optimization. • Iterate actively with prototypes at all levels of design fidelity, informed by user research, market trends, and business goals. • Communicate and share often in written, verbal, and visual forms to create alignment and move the work towards implementation. • Collaborate regularly with engineers to ship high-quality experiences. • Build strong relationships and operating rhythms with the product team to efficiently implement user experiences that are cohesive, inclusive, and well-informed. • Foster a healthy design culture and principles within the group, while setting new standards in executional and operational excellence. • Consult with partners across the design and engineering to prioritize the teams' efforts. To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:

• You have 7 years of experience in designing digital products and design systems

• You have experience in UX design from concept to launch

• You have proven history of Figma/Sketch expertise, including strong prior experience implementing (using, contributing to) a design system for digital products in a complex product ecosystem.

• You have advanced and up-to-date knowledge of Figma/Sketch and its components functionality and a working knowledge of other contemporary design and prototyping tools.

• You have a systems thinker who enjoys finding creative solutions to organizational, architectural, and design challenges.

• You have experience working with front-end engineering teams and foundational knowledge of front-end development.

• You have comprehensive understanding of constraints and guidelines as they apply to design for digital platforms, including web, iOS, and Android.

• You have awareness of accessibility best practices and interest in advocacy for accessibility for all users within HDS.

• You have design experience in developing products for consumer loyalty and engagement

• You will be contributing to documentation and education around design systems

At BMC we believe in pay transparency and have set the midpoint of the salary band for this role at 2,628,600 INR. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. 
The salary listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
