JOB PURPOSE To support the management of personnel, operational, and financial tasks for Red Apple Services (RAS), ABC Mechanical (ABC), and Good Hearts Gear (GHG); ensuring compliance with company, federal, and state regulations. This role works closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, Compliance, and Legal teams.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Office Manager shall:
  • Support the President of RAS, ABC and GHG with Support Center and Field personnel operations, including PTO, travel, credit card reconciliations, goals, and performance reviews.
  • Manage office staff scheduling, workload, and responsibilities to meet company goals.
  • Maintain organized personnel and financial records; perform basic AP/AR tasks as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and organizational requirements during hiring and onboarding; manage I-9 documentation and audits.
  • Update and maintain SOPs and vendor/partner documents.
  • Administer onboarding checklists and maintain confidential employee files.
  • Support performance evaluation and market or merit processes.
  • Coordinate company vehicle fleet compliance with the Sr. Regional Managers of Facilities and the General Manager of ABC Mechanical and Risk Management.
  • Assist with safety procedures and administrative tasks.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the President; comply with laws and policies.
  • Follow federal and state laws, as well as established company policies.

 

**MAY PERFORM OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED**

 

Due to the requirements for the Facilities and Custodial Support Teams to ready all facilities for an emergency encounter, after notice of, but prior to, any Storm, Natural Disaster or other emergency, employees desiring PTO must document a Special Need, either an illness, dependent obligation or other issue. These issues and the need for early PTO are to be approved at the sole discretion of Management. Any leave taken without Approval and/or documentation identifying the reason, constitutes Job Abandonment and is grounds for termination under this policy.

  JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and office software systems.
  • Willingness to travel, including overnight trips.
  • Such alternatives to the above requirements as company may find appropriate and acceptable.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the responsibilities of this position, the work environment characteristics listed below are representative of the environment the employee will encounter:

  • Air-conditioned office; quiet to moderate noise.
  • Occasional travel within/outside Florida.
  • Light physical work (lifting up to 20 lbs).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Travel within or outside of Florida.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with RAS, ABC and GHG salary and benefit policy. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by RAS, ABC and GHG.

 

FLSA OVERTIME CATEGORY

Job is exempt from the minimum wage and overtime provisions of the fair labor standards act.

 

EVALUATION

Performance will be evaluated in accordance with RAS, ABC and GHG's policy.

The RAS, ABC & GHG Employee Services Department retains the sole right and discretion to make changes to this job description. Any employee making changes unauthorized by Employee Services Department will be subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.
