Certification Details

Job Details
• Respiratory Therapy opening.
• The role requires handling various types of patients including adults and neonates.
• Duties include stabilizing and transferring rare pediatric cases in the ED.

Job Requirements
• Need Adult through NICU experience.

• Experience in Critical Care areas as well as NICU and MedSurg necessary.

Schedule Information
• Shifts are either 0630-1900 or 1830-0700.
• Team scheduling is practiced.
• Every other weekend work is required.
• Every other holiday work is mandatory.
• Self-scheduling or block scheduling options are not mentioned.

Unit Specific Information
• Areas covered include Inpatient - Med Surg, Emergency room, ICU/PCU, PACU, pre-op, and NICU.
• Bedside or OR bronchs may be required.
• RT Equipment includes Draeger, Avea, Hamilton vents, V60 Bipap, Airvo Hi Flow, Volaira for CPEP.

Additional Details
• Applicant must have a positive outlook and be efficient.
• Floating to all areas within the hospital is required.
• Radius Rule: applicants must not be currently working full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
• RTO needs to be communicated upfront with a limit of 7 days or less per 13-week contract; additional RTO will not be approved post-submission.
