PROJECT ANALYST WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? This position will be responsible for independently completing research, analytical and administrative tasks that support the Manager and department. They will assist in keeping their manager/team informed, with scheduling, reports, agendas, meetings, and other aspects as needed. This is a high-profile position within the bank and community which requires professionalism, polish, and a desire to learn. WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Conduct relevant research and data analysis. Perform various operations (e.g., mathematical calculations, sorting data, pivot tables, etc.) on information gathered from various sources for use by assigned staff members.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for timely distribution to Manager and colleagues, which may be highly sensitive and confidential in nature. Draft word documents, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations, as needed.
- Independently perform tasks and work on special projects by organizing and coordinating information and requirements; planning, arranging, and meeting schedules and deadlines. Participates on special projects or task forces as requested.
- Ensure documents conform to established guidelines pertaining to format, English grammar and style.
- Coordinate and schedule various internal meetings and events; attend various meetings and events; take notes; disseminate notes; follow-up as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Bank policies and procedures, products and services in order to assist manager preparation for meetings and presentations.
- Master the use of Outlook, email, calendar, myCNB, SharePoint and contacts.
- Create and maintain a department process and procedure manual.
- H.S. Diploma
- Minimum 3 years experience with Microsoft Excel
- Minimum 2 years experience in a Research or Analytical role
- Bachelor's degree, working towards a degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Some marketing experience preferred
- Proficient with Excel, able to nimbly translate raw data into graphs and charts
- Must be professional, organized and have excellent follow-up skills
- Must have great interpersonal skills and be approachable
- Demonstrated above average excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Must have polished presentation skills
- Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation Starting base salary: $25.93 - $41.43 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
