CPS Solutions is seeking a proven leader to help build and operate a world-class specialty pharmacy program in partnership with St. Joseph's Health which services patients in Paterson, NJ. This person is CPS' most senior leader of a client program, responsible for ensuring that all clinical, operational, and financial goals are met.
Starting Pay: $160K - 175k annually, (Depending on related work experience) + Bonus eligibility
Responsibilities:
- Develop client program strategy, goals, and tactics to ensure client success.
- Lead the onsite team of clinicians, liaisons, technicians, and other ancillary and support staff to outperform targets and create high patient and provider satisfaction.
- Own the relationship between CPS and the Client's pharmacy and executive leadership from setting targets to addressing performance issues.
- Manage projects including the idea creation; identifying and engaging key stakeholders; developing and executing the project; leading change through all levels of the organization; and timely completion.
- Forecast specialty operating plans, with a focus on needs identification; assisting in assessing financial value; negotiating price and value through financial mechanisms and tools; and managing requests and purchases (e.g. review and approval of invoices).
Qualifications:
- B.S. in Pharmacy from an accredited College of Pharmacy. An advanced degree in pharmacy, business, or a related healthcare field (e.g., PharmD, M.S., MPH, MBA) is preferred
- Licensure as a pharmacist with the ability to become licensed in the state where the client is located
- Previous management experience, including staff supervision preferred
- Leadership in a specialty pharmacy, health system or managed care setting with a proven ability to translate a strategic plan into operational impact is preferred
And bonus points if you have:
- Experience in a start-up company or early-stage health care environment
- Experience leading various disciplines and levels of clinical professionals
- Experience starting and / or running a specialty pharmacy at a health system
- Proficiency with standard software used in a healthcare setting such as EMR systems (e.g., EPIC, Cerner, Meditech), dispensing systems (e.g., QS1, RX30, Computer Rx, EnterpriseRX)
- An advanced degree in healthcare-related field or business administration

Hospital Requirements: (may be required)
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1 st -April 30 th
