- Certification Details
- Certs Required: ACLS, BLS, NIH
- AHA Certifications required based on unit/specialty (RQI acceptable).
- Certifications like PALS may be required based on unit/specialty.
- Job Details
- Position / Specialty: IMC RN
- 20 rooms/beds on unit.
- 1:5 ratios for all shifts.
- First-timers accepted: Yes.
- Weekend REQ: Will work weekends as needed for the department.
- Is on-call REQ? No.
- Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float as needed.
- Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager.
- Locals accepted: Yes- no radius.
- Must have active IL license in hand to apply.
- RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
- Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours.

- Required Work Setting Experience: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry.
- Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams.
- Required Cardiovascular Case Skills/Experience: Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, TR Band.
- Required Gastrointestinal Case Skills/Experience: Feeding tube care and management.
- Required Genitourinary/Renal Case Skills/Experience: Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure.
- Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs.
- Required Medication Experience/Skills: Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration, PCA, Procedural Sedation Administration, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips.
- Surgical drain experience required.
- Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management, Tracheostomy Management.
- Required Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac.
- Code blue/rapid response experience preferred.
- Cerner experience preferred.
