**Responsibilities**

In this role, your patients will be critically ill or unstable following extensive injury, surgery, or life threatening diseases. Our nurses wear many hats daily from patient advocate to family advisor and, in some cases, even friend.
**Cath Lab Nurse Expectations:**
Patience and focus to constantly monitor high acuity patients
Proven ability to think and react quickly in critical situations
Prepare instruments, equipment and supplies for procedures
Medication administration

**Qualifications**
**Required Skills:**
Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma with 5 years of RN experience OR BSN with 3 years of RN experience
Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas
Basic Life Support with skills demonstration from American Heart Association
Approved National Certification :
**Preferred Skills:**
- Effective Communication- Knowledge of the principles and skills of the nursing process to provide patient care and treatment.- Critical thinking skills- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills both written and verbal- Basic Computer skills - familiarity with Windows based software programs

$28.50 - $43.46 /hour
