**This is a regular, full-time position in the OB Unit of the hospital in Talihina | This is a nightshift position with shift differential applying to pay | Schedule will be 3-4 days each week, rotating**
**Job Purpose or Objective(s):** Perform general nursing responsibilities in multiple areas, as assigned with guidance, to ensure excellent patient care. You will report to the RN Unit Manager.
**Primary Tasks:**
Provide direct patient, assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
Communicate with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition including chest pain and changes in vital signs and results of diagnostic studies.
You will respond quickly to changes in patient's condition or response to treatment.
Create an individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment and evaluate overall plan daily for effectiveness.
Evaluate discharge needs, and coordinate with multi-health care disciplines in planning for care after discharge.
Assess and reassess pain management techniques used. Educate the patient and family regarding pain management.
You will identify and address psychosocial needs of patient and family.
Perform other responsibilities as may be assigned.
**Required Education** **and experience:**
Current RN licensure with the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing (or Multi-State Nursing License)
Current CPR certification required
Good customer service skills
General computer and office skills
