Location: Branford, CT
Job Type: Full-Time Monday-Friday (one weekend required every 6 weeks)

Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse - Women's Health will provide specialized nursing care to women in various healthcare settings, including obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive health. This role involves patient assessment, education, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, including physical exams and medical histories.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' needs and preferences.
Educate patients and their families about health promotion, disease prevention, and management of health conditions.
Assist in a variety of women's health procedures and interventions as needed.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and referrals to specialty services.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Provide emotional support and counseling to patients regarding reproductive health, pregnancy, and postpartum care.
Stay informed about current best practices and advancements in women's health nursing.
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; associate degree acceptable with relevant experience.
Previous experience in women's health, obstetrics, or gynecology is strongly preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
