As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Home Health program, you will be serving patients in a 30-mile radius of our Dover, OH. RNs provide patients with direct nursing care, resources, and education to manage their disease in the home and prevent rehospitalization. Caregivers on this team enjoy the one-on-one relationships with patients and helping them achieve their goals.
**A caregiver in this position works primarily Monday - Friday from 8:00AM - 4:00PM with an on call rotation for nights, weekends and holidays.**
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide direct nursing care.
Perform accurate and complete admission assessments and reassessments within a specified time frame.
Assess patients for safety risks, abuse and neglect.
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Assess, document, prioritize and manage patients' pain.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
One year of current clinical experience as an RN.
One year of experience in an acute med/surg or home care setting.
Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of automobile insurance coverage with $100,000/$300,000 coverage.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN). A BSN is required within three years of hire date if a diploma or associate's degree of nursing (ADN) has been obtained.

**Physical Requirements:**
Requires full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
Requires corrected hearing and vision to normal range.
Requires some exposure to communicable disease or bodily fluids.
Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
Must be ambulatory and able to drive to patients' homes, able to climb stairs, pull, push, and facilitate movement of the patient.
Must be able to read, write and communicate with patients.
**Personal Protective Equipment:**
Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
