Our community is looking for an Activities Coordinator/Assistant to join our team. 

Activities Coordinator/Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate & assist in the development and oversight of resident activities as the Assistant to the Director of Celebrations. 
  • Plan, schedule and conduct programs that provide physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual opportunities for our residents in our community.
  • Attend ALL community planned functions and coordinate the event from beginning to end including set-up, running, and breaking down for the event.
  • Assist in preparing and organizing a calendar of events.
  • Must be willing to work flexible hours (Evenings and Saturdays) for planned activity events.
  • Regular Schedule - Full Time: Tu - Sat, 9a-5p

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Associate's Degree in social work, recreation, sociology or related field, preferred.
  • One to three years experience working in Senior Living, strongly preferred.
  • Experience with event planning & coordination, required.
  • Proficient verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate with, encourage, and motivate Senior adults.
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, required.
  • Experience using Senior Activity Mobile Apps, such as: UniGuest, LifeLoop or other.
  • Demonstrated artistic & creative abilities.
  • Strong skills in organization, delegation and consensus building.
  • CDL-B (P) Drivers License is a PLUS!
