As Concierge, you'll play an essential role in enriching the lives of seniors by creating a welcoming first impression, building meaningful connections, and making a difference every single day.

Your Role:

As the Concierge, you serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, guests, and team members. You help ensure smooth daily operations by managing communications, supporting resident services, and maintaining a warm, organized, and professional front-desk environment.

Position Highlights:

  • Status: PART TIME & PRN
  • Schedule: ROTATING WEEKENDS, 1st shift (7:30a - 4p) - additional days & shifts avaialble, PRN
  • Location: 1432o Tandem Blvd, Austin TX 778728
  • Rate of Pay: $16 - 16.50/hour

This is a Rotating Weekend schedule with another Concierge Team Member. Perfect for college students, retirees, homemakers, and anyone who needs flexible, weekend hours. PRN hours are also available for this position!

Responsibilities:

  • Carries out telephone answering and reception duties as required.
  • Takes messages with pertinent information and communicates messages to the recipient.
  • Greets residents, visitors, guests and vendors. Answers inquiries and gives directions.
  • Collates brochures & documents for the marketing and other departments.
  • Prepares meal tickets for family, visitors & guests.
  • Takes Room Service orders for meal delivery to Residents.
  • Assists Residents with sign-ups for Actiities, Outings and Events.
  • Updates the Resident Phone List, Resident Emergency Contact & Caregiver information.
  • Manages appointment reminders for residents' transportation.
  • Maintains and keeps desk and entry area neat and organized.
  • Organizes & distributes packages & other deliveries to residents & staff.
  • Sets up theater and prepares popcorn for regular movie nights & weekend matinee.
  • Responds to Resident Emergency Pendant pushes or calls from Residents or family to initiate 911/EMS.
  • Maintains adherence to all company personnel policies and established operating policies and procedures.
  • Assists and supports the Business Office Director and other department Directors.
  • Direct Report to the Business Office Director.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Must communicate articulately in English. Spanish is desireable, but not required
  • Experience with multi-line phones, computers, copy machine, Keytrak device, and other technology. 
  • 2 years of customer service/hospitality experience required, experience in Senior Living highly preferred.
  • Polite, helpful, articulate, responsible, and dependable.
