That's Nice, But What's the Job?
As a Process Engineer-Inventory Operations, you will drive continuous improvement by defining and owning all phases of the process management life cycle from ideation through implementation and sustainment. You will partner with cross-functional teams to transform our enterprise processes and systems through the identification and valuation of opportunities and problems, determining root causes, identifying gaps and countermeasures. You will lead the implementation of solutions that drive strategic initiatives for our Inventory operations teams. Along the way you're communicating and aligning with business stakeholders.
Our Process Engineer-Inventory Operations is responsible for:
- Ownership of the process and project life cycle including ideation, definition, analysis, process design, improvement, launch, adoption, and sustainment.
- Facilitating and leading discussions with business leaders, analytic partners, and development engineering to define business requirements and acceptance criteria to ensure efforts are focused on critical needs.
- Identifying improvement opportunities to decrease cost, improve delivery, achieve quality targets, or improve safety by researching issues, performing root cause analysis, compiling and analyzing qualitative and quantitative information to conclude and communicate well-reasoned decisions.
- Establishing schedules, guidelines, and procedures and determining the most effective way to deliver a complete solution to an identified problem or opportunity.
- Exploring and proposing different solutions for the same problem, situation, or workflow using your knowledge of continuous improvement tools and business requirements.
- Communicating clearly, providing context, risks, and recommendations, and sharing complete information with the senior leadership team and other stakeholders for the best outcomes.
- Executing multiple projects at one time that span multiple teams.

The Specifics
- Passion for continuous improvement a must; 4-6 years of process improvement experience
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or business preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of lean production systems; proven history of successful lean implementation; proficiency with continuous improvement processes and tools.
- Demonstrated experience in creating and communicating process flow maps, root cause analysis, new process introduction, and change management.
