As an Accounting ATM Specialist, you'll be behind-the-scenes keeping our ATM network running smoothly and accurately. From daily deposits and withdrawals to balancing cash and resolving discrepancies, you'll ensure every transaction adds up—down to the last dollar.

You'll take the lead on:

  • Posting and reconciling daily ATM activity for each individual machine
  • Performing daily, weekly, and monthly ATM balancing and adjustment reconciliations
  • Investigating and resolving ATM outages, variances, and discrepancies
  • Managing shared branching network reconciliations, including outage research and chargeback processing
  • Balancing and posting Zelle settlements while researching and resolving Zelle-related issues

But this role goes beyond balancing spreadsheets. By analyzing transaction data and financial reports, you'll help uncover insights that improve ATM performance and profitability. Your work directly supports smart decision-making and strengthens EECU's financial health.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma and some college preferred. 
  • Minimum of 2 years general accounting experience and 1-2 years with ATM networks. 
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word, Ten Key by touch and accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications / Experience:

  • Experience working with ATM transaction systems or banking operations.
  • Specialized knowledge of ATM processing, ATM networks, cut off times and cash vendor procedures. 
  • Significant knowledge of third-party software applications such as TMG -Springboard, TMG Blue Zone, Brinks Network for Vault balancing and COOP Network.  
  • Above average problem-solving ability and capable of performing in-depth research of general ledgers. 
  • Understanding of various networks such as Visa/Plus, MasterCard/Cirrus and Pulse. 
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate across departments.

Required to attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.
