Description

EECU is seeking a Systems Analyst – Mortgage Systems with proven experience in the mortgage industry to support, enhance, and optimize technology solutions. This position serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that systems robustly support loan origination processes. Responsibilities include aligning system functionality with business workflows and regulatory standards, supporting system upgrades, enhancements, and integrations, as well as configuring, testing, and implementing mortgage-related systems and updates. The analyst will also identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, automate processes, and enhance user experience. Additional duties involve recommending workflow enhancements, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and analyzing system data to inform business decisions and reporting requirements. Ensuring data integrity and consistency across platforms is essential. Expertise in platforms such as Encompass, Blend, Polly, Velocify, and Medallia is highly desirable. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the technical liaison between business units and IT to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Analyze system processes, data flows, and integrations to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for automation and optimization.
  • Develop technical specifications, system models, and workflow diagrams to guide development and implementation.
  • Lead technical design sessions and solution evaluations, including build vs. buy recommendations.
  • Coordinate system integration testing, upgrades, and new feature implementations.
  • Act as the technical platform owner for assigned mortgage applications, monitoring performance, releases, and enhancements.
  • Diagnose system issues, perform log and data analysis, and coordinate solutions with development teams and vendors.
  • Ensure systems align with enterprise architecture, security standards, and data governance policies.
  • Partner with business leaders to prioritize enhancements and technology improvements.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications and system implementations.
  • Strong skills in system analysis, process modeling, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with SQL queries, data analysis, and system integration.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience supporting mortgage technology platforms such as:
    • Encompass (Desktop or Cloud)
    • Blend
    • Symitar
    • Meridian Link
    • Surefire CRM
  • Experience within financial services or credit unions.

Responsible for compliance of all Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Bribery Act, NCUA Privacy Regulations, Reg B, Reg Z, Reg DD, Reg E, Reg CC, Service Members Civil Relief, and FCRA/FACTA.  Required to attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.
