EECU is seeking a Systems Analyst – Retail Banking Systems with retail banking expertise to support and optimize technology solutions across branch, digital, and call center channels. This position collaborates closely with both business and IT teams to deliver systems that elevate member experience, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include configuration, testing, and implementation of retail banking systems, as well as facilitating enhancements, upgrades, and integrations. The role ensures alignment between systems and business processes, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. Automation and system enhancements are recommended to further enrich both member and employee experiences. The analyst will also conduct data analysis to provide business insights and inform decision-making, maintaining data accuracy, reporting, and consistency across all platforms. Proficiency in platforms such as Symitar, MeridianLink, and TalkDesk is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the technical liaison between business units and IT to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Analyze system processes, data flows, and integrations to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for automation and optimization.
- Develop technical specifications, system models, and workflow diagrams to guide development and implementation.
- Lead technical design sessions and solution evaluations, including build vs. buy recommendations.
- Coordinate system integration testing, upgrades, and new feature implementations.
- Act as the technical platform owner for assigned mortgage applications, monitoring performance, releases, and enhancements.
- Diagnose system issues, perform log and data analysis, and coordinate solutions with development teams and vendors.
- Ensure systems align with enterprise architecture, security standards, and data governance policies.
- Partner with business leaders to prioritize enhancements and technology improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications and system implementations.
- Strong skills in system analysis, process modeling, and technical documentation.
- Experience with SQL queries, data analysis, and system integration.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly solutions.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Symitar
- Meridian Link
- TalkDesk
- Experience within financial services or credit unions.
Responsible for compliance of all Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Bribery Act, NCUA Privacy Regulations, Reg B, Reg Z, Reg DD, Reg E, Reg CC, Service Members Civil Relief, and FCRA/FACTA. Required to attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.
