Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Employee Health Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative support to the Employee Health Department. Responsibilities include answering and screening incoming telephone calls, preparing and processing correspondence and departmental documents, maintaining organized filing and recordkeeping systems, greeting and assisting employees, visitors, and vendors, and coordinating the scheduling of Medical Center conference rooms as needed. The incumbent serves as a key point of contact for the department, ensuring professional, efficient, and courteous customer service while supporting daily operations and facilitating effective communication and workflow within the Employee Health Department.

Status: Part-time/ 32 hr/week
 Hours: 8am-2:30p 4 days/week + one day 8a-2p

Job Qualifications: Medical reception experience required. Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task. Attention to detail and a follow-up.
Experience with Epic preferred.

  • Working knowledge of computer applications and systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Zoom, PeopleSoft, Epic, Agility, and internet-based applications
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare office practices
  • Proficiency in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and sentence structure to prepare correspondence, reports, and other business documents accurately
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Ability to operate a variety of office equipment and standard business technology
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with patients, healthcare providers, administrative staff, and members of the public
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Englewood Health job postings provide a minimum rate to comply with new Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.
Minimum rate: $19.50
