Job Summary:
Performs all Neurodiagnostic Lab testing. Responsible for assessing the patient, conducting EMG and Evoked Responses studies, and the collection of information pertinent to the interpretation of the tests. Demonstrates service excellence in all interactions by exemplifying SE standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performs all EMG recordings and Evoked Response studies.
  • Summarize the patient's neurologic status and clinical history from the chart,' patient or other knowledgeable person.
  • Adapts methods and instrumentation to obtain optimal results based on history and clinical observations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.

  • Successful completion of an educational program for EMG technicians accredited by the AMA Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation, or equivalent training.
  • Five years of experience in EMG technology.
  • Must possess the ability to establish good rapport ^with patients, public and staff according to Service Excellence Standards. Capacity to deal with severely ill patients.

Englewood Health provides a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law.  The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.
