Englewood Health is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to perform advanced, diversified and confidential administrative duties requiring a broad range of skills, competencies and knowledge of the organization's policies and practices. The ideal candidate will function as a trusted partner, handling confidential, sensitive, and time-critical information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Duties include relationship building and serving as a liaison to Board Members, Hospital and Practice Leadership, physicians, staff, business partners and community members. Additional responsibilities include oversight of project progression, action items, and strategies originating from the President & CEO. The Executive Assistant ensures that appropriate follow up actions are taken and initiates meetings and communications as directed. The incumbent oversees the coordination and dissemination of information to and from the President & CEO across a variety of communication channels, including meetings, correspondence, conferences, retreats, and other organizational events.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.

  • Five or more (5+) years of executive support experience, preferably at the C- suite level required
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) 
  • Technical acumen to ensure working knowledge of various database and software programs 
  • Strong proficiency managing complex calendars, coordinating a high volume of meetings, and handling sensitive information required
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders throughout the health system (e.g., Administrative Staff, Board of Trustees, Department Heads, Medical Staff), and the general public.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required

Englewood Health job postings provide a minimum compensation to comply with New Jersey Law. The actual compensation for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The compensation does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the compensation, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.

Minimum compensation: $70,000 p/yr.
