Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will:
Operate MRI equipment to aquire high-quality diagnostic images.
Collaborate with radiologists and health care teams.
Prepare and educate patients, reviewing medical histories, and ensuring the proper documentation of patient information related to the imaging procedure.
Assessing and positioning patients for procedures while attending to their needs during imaging.
Applying knowledge of MRI safety practices, including patient safety, equipment safety, and magnetic field safety protocols.
Ensuring that appropriate contrast agents, if required, are administered and documenting activities related to their use, in line with state and institutional policies.
