Englewood Health is seeking a We are seeking a compassionate, board‑certified Geriatrician to join our growing multidisciplinary team serving older adults across northern New Jersey. About the Opportunity
- The GI team currently consists of seven (7) GI physicians.
- Providers conduct a combination of outpatient office visits and procedures in the Endoscopy Lab and potentially an Ambulatory Surgical Center.

What your day will look like
- Conduct comprehensive geriatric assessments including medical, functional, cognitive, and psychosocial evaluations.
- Diagnose and manage chronic and complex conditions common in older adults.
- Apply evidence‑based principles of geriatric syndromes, including frailty, falls, delirium, and dementia.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members.
- Provide medication management with attention to polypharmacy and deprescribing.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers regarding care plans and goals of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance activities.
- Document all clinical encounters in the electronic medical record in accordance with organizational standards.
- Provide inpatient consults, skilled nursing facility coverage, or home‑based visits depending on program needs.
Qualifications
- MD (or DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Geriatric Medicine fellowship (preferred)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Geriatric Medicine (must become BC within a five (5) year timeline per Medical Staff bylaws)
- Eligible for Medical Licensure in the State of New Jersey
- DEA & NJ CDS registration
- AHA or American Red Cross BLS & ACLS certification
- Strong surgical skills and clinical judgment
- Advanced endoscopy experience (ERCP/EUS) preferred but not required

Englewood Health offers competitive total compensation that includes base pay, comprehensive benefits package, and other incentive programs for our employees. The salary shown reflects the minimum compensation; actual compensation considers specialty, relevant experience and training.
Minimum compensation: $309,920.00 annually
