Job Summary:
The Shirvan Family Live Well Center, located in downtown Englewood, will provide programming, education and hands on experience to members of the community at large. Reporting to the Program Site Manager, the position will serve as program coordinator for the Live Well Center by supporting the plans and coordinating the operations of the site. The Program Coordinator will assist the Site Manager with day-to-day operations, budget coordination, program development, participant recruitment and engagement with local organizations. The ideal candidate is passionate about health and wellness, detail oriented, a creative thinker, a problem solver, and has strong interpersonal skills.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.

  • Strong familiarity with the Englewood Community a plus.
  • Cultural Competencies a must.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills working with racially, ethnically, and culturally diverse populations (particularly from the communities being served).
  • Must have problem solving, program planning and development skills.
  • Personal or professional interest or training in the health and wellness sector.
  • Bilingual: Spanish fluency preferred.


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of related experience preferred.

 

Englewood Health job postings provide a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.
Compensation range: $25.00 - 30.00/hour
