Job Summary:
The Pharmacy Outpatient Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily and administrative function of the infusion center and off-site therapeutic center pharmacy services. The Pharmacy Outpatient Supervisor provides direction and leadership to develop practice advancement projects, medication policies, and patient care quality and regulatory compliance initatives designed to improve medication-use processes that detect, mitigate, and prevent medication adverse events.

Hours: 7a-3p, Monday through Friday

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.

  • At least 2 year of hospital pharmacy management experience preferred.
  • Completion of ASHP-accredited postgraduate year-1 (PGY-1) residency preferred.
  • Competent in utilization of pharmacy information systems (Epic Willow, Epic Beacon) and other pharmacy automation tools including carousel and automated dispensing machines.
  • Demonstrate skills in prioritization, problem solving, team building, decision making, time management, and strategic planning.
  • Maintain and foster a practice culture that embraces change and innovation with a positive attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter, problem-solver, able to establish priorities and manage time effectively.


Education Requirements:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy required.


License/Certification/Registry:

  • Current New Jersey pharmacist licensure required.

The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation.
