  The Plant Supervisor is responsible for operations, maintenance and reliability of a Plant gas processing facility. The Supervisor is also directly responsible for safety of personnel, protection of the environment, and prevention of damage to systems and equipment thorough continual promotion of safe work practices and conditions.  Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Supervises/manages plant operators and Maintenance Supervisor and supports them in achieving asset goals and objectives.
  • Prepares and recommends annual operating budget and is responsible for cost containment measures.
  • Reviews and analyzes various operating data to identify areas of lost opportunity as well as opportunities to increase reliability, optimize operations and lower operating costs.
  • Works closely with the Commercial Team to maximize the profitability of the plant and system.
  • Ensures there is an organized program to minimize downtime.
  • Ensures compliance with OSHA (Process Safety Management and Process Hazard Analyses, etc.) and other applicable regulations.
  • Oversees the planning and scheduling of maintenance projects.
  • Subject to being able to provide emergency response.


Requirements

    The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications: 
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent Natural Gas Systems (or similar) operations experience. 
  • Experience managing and directing a workforce and managing a facility budget.
  • Five or more years of Cryo plant operations experience preferred.
  • Must have strong organizational skills and able to deal concurrently with a variety of projects and issues.
  • Strong focus on safety and familiar with requirements of Process Safety Management.
  • Adaptable to a changing work environment.
  • Must live or be willing to relocate to within 1 hour of reporting location.
