Stays abreast of new developments in the corporation's business and technology strategic plans and works closely with department managers to identify, evaluate, and recommend manager-specific solutions that support those plans. Evaluates new technologies/software and makes appropriate recommendations. Leads new development projects as well as projects requiring heavy user involvement and setup. Has an in-depth technical understanding of assigned systems and how the technical functions relate to processing in order to design and schedule projects. Develops management skills in order to lead teams and perform designated back-up duties for Manager and/or Assistant Manger as needed. May act as lead Business Analyst for one or more specific bank product line(s) (i.e. digital banking).

Essential Job Responsibilities

1. Fully functions as an internal consultant to assist department managers in solving complex problems and to support efficient operations between the business and technology divisions of the corporation.

2. Supplies overall system support for all affiliates to ensure the highest level of customer service.

3. Serves as a contact for department/corporation inquiries regarding the assigned systems and their capabilities.

4. Maintains a better-than-average understanding of all systems and advise and assist the corporation's business and technology department managers in developing techniques and procedures to fully implement all facets of the corporation's technology.

5. Possesses a high-level overview of the job functions of the various positions in the corporation to facilitate effective communication with all users.

6. Assesses and responds appropriately to unexpected software or design errors and know the appropriate personnel to contact to ensure the timely resolutions of these issues.

7. Works with programmers/management on evaluating, testing, and installing system changes and releases while advising affiliates of changes, updating documentation, and revising/developing input forms. Ensures the accuracy of all Configuration Settings changes as they pertain to assigned banking systems.

8. Refines project planning skills including plan development, setting deadlines, internal communication with all involved departments, and post project evaluation and communication.

9. Maintains proficiency in daily tasks related to assigned systems and an in-depth technical knowledge of the systems, including understanding how technical functions relate to processing which is necessary for project design, scheduling, and making the necessary system configuration changes

10. If assigned, supports of a system provided by an Application Service Provider (ASP), must: Monitor Website and/or emails for upcoming changes or upgrades (required and optional), and work with the business partner(s) to understand the use of the system in their environment(s) as well as through testing for changes and updates. Develops and maintains procedures and documentation for supporting the system

11. Enters monthly statistics and Incident reports, generate/distribute and log incident reports as required, and complete/update weekly reports and plans as assigned.

12. Completes review/update of Policy and Procedures relating to assigned systems as required.

13. Retains records according to guidelines.

14. Reviews Work Orders, projects, releases, etc. with Supervisor in a timely manner if established completion dates cannot be met and perform only approved system changes

15. Cross-trains across banking systems and business analyst groups to gain the knowledge necessary to support multiple banking systems and provide cross-training to other personnel. Attend training and provide guidance and training to other personnel as needed.

16. May act as lead Business Analyst for one or more specific bank product line(s) (i.e. digital banking).

Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications

1. A Bachelor's Degree Technology or Business, or equivalent experience as well as Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in a related field or banking environment are preferred.

2. Familiarity with banking technology solutions such as Online Banking, Mobile Banking, and payment services, as well as with emerging solutions which are promoted and sourced with leading FI technology providers is preferred.

3. In-depth technical knowledge of the assigned systems and how the technical functions relate to processing is needed. Above average reading, writing, and grammar skills, as well as above average analytical and mathematical skills, communicative and interpersonal relations skills are necessary.

4. A valid driver's license and having the ability to travel when necessary is required.

5. May be eligible for Telecommuting.
