Job Description To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/an Associate Consultant- IT located in Chennai.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Issue Resolution and Troubleshooting: Taking ownership of user problems, monitoring alerts, and analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues including providing code fixes and testing.
  • Proactive Monitoring & Performance Management: Actively monitoring systems and applications using specialized tools, reporting significant issues, and developing solutions to improve availability and performance.
  • Root Cause Analysis & Prevention: Conducting thorough root-cause analysis for production errors and implementing corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
  • Process Adherence & Escalation: Following established processes for incident, problem, and change management, including adhering to SLA compliance and escalating unresolved issues appropriately.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining logs of all issues, documenting procedures, configurations, and resolutions, and generating reports on system performance and issue status.
  • Automation Initiatives: Identifying and implementing automation possibilities to streamline support processes, reduce manual effort, and improve efficiency.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Working effectively with users, development teams, support teams, and other stakeholders to address issues, manage deployments, and ensure system stability.
  • Learning & Skill Development: Continuously learning about the software and systems used and supported by the organization to enhance technical expertise and problem-solving abilities.
  • KPI Management: Responsible for maintaining the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) for the applications and systems supported includes SLA and MTTR.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Quality Assurance: Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure a bug-free system for end-users, and ensuring resolutions adhere to quality assurance tests

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering.
  •  3-6 years of experience in L1/L2/L3 production support.
  • Intermediate knowledge in SQL / Oracle / Snowflake.
  • Basic knowledge in Dot.Net, Python, Power Apps, or Java or SSIS and SSRS.
  • Experience with Data Management / ETL projects.
  • Willing to work rotational shifts (including night and weekend shifts).
  • Ability to lead efficiency improvement initiatives and guide team.
  • Strong sense of urgency for high-severity incidents and interest for finding root causes, even for tedious tasks.
  • Interested in display technology and possessing basic skills to edit dot net scripts.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
